Our website has been developed to best practice coding conventions following Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (WCAG 2.2)
A consistent heading structure has been used so that page information is compatible with access technology.
Our document download formats are:
For the purposes of reporting and recordkeeping, we provide these documents for download so that auditors and the public can access them as they were originally created, prior to being made accessible. As we are often bound to template files for audits it would be impractical to make these files accessible.
We provide accessible page content for each document where possible and keep this as accurate to the source document as possible.
Due to how Google Captcha works in providing responses on a form using hidden text fields, contact forms may not be fully compliant.
Every effort has been made to ensure those with assistive technologies, narrators and keyboard navigation can use contact forms as normal and that it does not affect the end user.
Due to the format in which the cookie policy is served to end users, some aspects of the policy are not fully compliant, as listed below:
We are investigating this page to address these issues, however due to a third-party system powering this policy we do not have an estimated time of completion.
On the Contact Us page there is a single link that could be considered redundant for those using screen readers. Correcting this would negatively impact the flow of the website for those using mobile and our normal solution of dynamic removal is not possible given the software at hand. We are actively researching solutions and alternatives to this issue.
There is additionally an invisible field added by reCaptcha that is used for authentication. It is not visible or focusable by any screen reader and shouldn't affect visitors to the site.
Our Annual Accounts documents are currently undergoing refactoring into accessible HTML post formats, but are currently being provided as non-accessible document formats.
This will be resolved by the 1st July 2026.
Due to the age and relevance of this document we have not converted this to an accessible HTML format. This will be rectified upon the completion of the new parish plan.
